"Hidden In Time"
at Chicago Film Festival

Many of you have been following and supporting my efforts to have my first short film "Hidden In Time" screen at Film Festivals around the world.  Getting into Festivals is always a fantastic recognition of a films merit.  So you can imagine my joy that it will be joining 34 other films at the 2010 Peace On Earth Film Festival in Chicago.

This time I will be attending the festival in person.  The film is screening on Sunday, February 28th, at noon at the Chicago Cultural Center's Claudia Cassidy Theater.

Maybe I'll see you there?

And if anyone you know might enjoy attending this festival dedicated to peace do spread the word - or forward this newsletter.

Other venues...

"Hidden In Time" has found some unique applications.  A professor at Marist College, in Poughkeepsie, NY has been using the short film to promote dialog amongst her philosophy students.  Her desire is to get them to explore their emotional stereotypes regarding Muslims and immigrants.  The feedback from her students has been eye opening to say the least.  Most interesting is how the film leaves no one neutral - and no one has yet guessed how the film ends.

This week "Hidden In Time" will also been shown at an event for  inter-religious dialog in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This is the third time the film has been proposed for this type of meeting and therefore I am renewing my offer to send a free DVD to any event organizer who would like to consider using the film to enhance their program.  See the sidebar.

I also received confirmation that the film is an official selection for the Buffalo/Niagara Film Festival in Buffalo, NY.  This is a week long event and I'll be sending more info in a future newsletter.

Wishing each of you the very best,

Ed

Free DVD available
Once again I am offering a free DVD of "Hidden In Time" to all those who are sponsoring events that would benefit from a screening of the film.

Simply email a request and indicate the event and how the film is proposed to be used and I'll decide if it merits a free DVD.

How to Shoot
Guns N' Roses
Show up hours before the concert starts.  Wait around till after mid-night.  Stand on a stool for 3 hours.  Be accosted thru the night by screeming fans. Hold the video camera above your head - for two hours. Inhale a lot of funny smoke. Watch the lead guitarist smash a guitar.  Leave at 4:30 am.

On Sunday February 14th I did all this with the legendary rock band Guns N' Roses at a Valentines party at the Gramercy Hotel in NYC.  All because I didn't have a date lined up.
